Does anyone have any tips on making 15mm corn fields from a green plastic door mat? It seems to me that perhaps corn was planted in mounds during this time period? |

I have one cut up into smaller pieces so they can be moved around as needed. A friend lightly dusted his cut up squares with a light brown. I'd be interested in what others do. I know the more costly stuff is made up of fake Xmas tree branches with yellow paint on top. |

Yes I have some of the Christmas tree ones and while it is obvious what they are supposed to be and look good, I can't help but be aware they are Christmas tree pieces. In some ways the green plastic mat I found reminds me more of corn. It has potential. Also the Christmas tree ones are expensive to buy and tedious to make. |
