I just received my copy of "Crush the Kaiser" rules in the mail. Included were 4 Early War figures, a kneeling German, two British Tommies and a French Poilu. They are very nice figures, in 20mm metal. We do the Great War in 15mm, but I thought I'd post a couple photos for those who do 20mm metal.

The Frenchman is right out of "Paths of Glory".

Nice figs. Any thoughts about the rules?

Thanks,

John

Gave them a fast read through, but spent most of today preparing and playing a Napoleonic game of Wattignies 1793.

I'll have to read the rules when I have more time and hopefully play a game within a few weeks, though I'm also trying to complete the Napoleonic rules too.

The rules appear to be straight tactical western front 1916-1918, three battalions try to take a trench held by one battalion.

Thanks for posting those pictures of the samples I sent you Vincent. You have made a nice job of painting them as well.
The French and British are 1916 onwards and are part of a range still under development. I like to build up enough figures before release. The Germans however, are part of an extensive range available now with over 47 codes covering 1916 to 1918 German storm troopers. These were started in December last year and show how quickly we can and do develop and release a range. The first British will be released in early June, just in time for a "summer offensive" with the CTK rules!

Cheers,
