Browsing the thinkgeek site, I stumbled upon this article and wondered if somebody actually tried to make clear resin or plaster casts of Han solo as the smallest mould seems around the same size as for 28mm. I would certainly be interested in seeing it as I'm tempted to buy some as it only costs $9.99 USD. It can be found on the ThninGeel site when searching for Han Solo: link

That doesn't really have the same sort of dramatic impact, does it? Still, that's basically what Darth Vader meant when he was talking to Boba Fett in the bowels of Cloud City. Thankfully, you won't need to go to such extremes if your Han Solo Ice Cubes melt. You just stick them back in the freezer and through the magic of the exothermic process you'll have ice in no time at all.

But wait, how do you get Han Solo Ice Cubes in the first place? Well, simple enough, you just use one of our Han Solo Ice Cube Trays.

The Han Solo Ice Cube Tray comes with room for six (6) small, 1.75" Han Solos and one (1) large, 3.5" Solo. We're pretty sure that Boba Fett would be happy with just one smuggler on ice but seven would be a serious payday! The silicone on the mold is good down to -40F so don't try using these on Hoth. They should be fine in your average household freezer though.

I have it, its a little big for 28mm… I think its more in line with 1/48 scale

How many Han Solo in Carbonite does one need? Outside of wall decoration for Jabba's palace I would imagine not much use. There are several in the toys category that would work along with the one in the SWMB set I think as well. Now if you could get vodka to freeze that would be a different story.

Thanks for the insight, Haywire much appriciated I will pass, but if it was the right scale I could have found a use for a legion of frozen Han Solo's :)

Never the less also just cool to use for icecubes!

It would work fine as a terrain piece – you could say the Carbonite was thicker than usual to protect the cargo better – it is 1.75" long – so a bit larger – but then again it wouldn't get lost. Then you could just clean the mold – and make ice cubes for drinks to be used at your games! grin

Actually those are not Ice Cube Trays, but silicone moulds.

They withstand heat so you can use the mould for baking too.

Mmmmm, Han Solo in Red Velvet.

For gaming, it would probably be easier to just get the WotC prepainted mini
