I know you can patch up the armor and replace the engine, but how do you get that burnt dog hair smell out of your used tanks? My Royal Guard say it makes their eyes water.

Comrade Kyotebluer,

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it is my duty to inform your that there appears to have been a rather unfortunate typo, in the procurement department, by the data entry clerk handling your purchase order.

We didn't catch it until just now, but all of our T-62s have been spoken for.

Not only has there been a huge surge in small arms ammunition purchases, causing a world-wide shortage, but there's been a run on main battle tanks as well. It seems a lot of governments around the globe need to ensure proper stockpiles to keep unruly citizens in check, should the civilian unrest increase further.

Apparently, instead, you will be receiving 11 x vintage, T-26 light infantry tanks, in very good condition for their age. These are quite rare, being a pre-WWII tank design, but my understanding is that with a little rust-o-leum (who am I kidding, a lot), some WD-40, bondo body repair putty, and a fresh coat of paint, you'll soon have the nicest pre-WWII tank force on the continent (and I imagine, the only one – we believe in truth in advertising).

On the plus side, these use less fuel than the more modern vehicles, put less stress on paved roadways and bridges, can carry up to 122 rounds of 45mm ammo (assuming anyone still makes it in that caliber), and are harder to hit, due to their small size.

We hope you will be happy with your purchase.

Please remember to give us positive feedback on the follow-up survey, you will be receiving shortly.

Sincerely,

Vladimir

I understand that Nova Caledonia has cornered the Market on Swedish S Tanks, and would be willing to sell some!

The offshore Republic of Orb Guinea views the news of this latest acquisition of T-62, or T-26s, as the case may be, with some trepidation. These actions may destabilize the entire region, thereby threatening the Orb Guinea dominance of coastal shipping ports.

Regardless, our ships stand ready to accept any contracts for shipping the T-62/T-26s to their destination.

Our new squadron of MIG-29Ks stands ready to deploy to fly air cover over the shipments as they cross the Dandani Straits.

The T-62As are at the pier and the transport M/V B'Ahbsyerunkl has been contracted for the shipment from the port of Pulfinga.

The Departamento de Vendas Militares e Turismo is awaiting the arrival of the Czech courier with the final payments. The República da Todjammo is more than happy to assist the Sultanate, which has the distinction of being the first nation to have recognized it upon independence.

The T-62s have been lovingly maintained and have been run on only the finest banana biodiesel.

What's that loud ticking noise I hear?

GarrisonMiniatures03 May 2013 12:10 p.m. PST

I've seen those tanks and one thing puzzles me about them.

Why have they got 'Made in China' stamped on the side?
