Could swear I saw an artillery crew somewhere in t-shirts, helmets and no gear. Looking for that or something similar to use as a USN shipboard gun crew. Any thoughts?

Nope, not PP. I checked them first, but rechecked just now in case I missed something – not them.

The BF Vietnam 81 mm Mortar platoon appears to have shirtless crew, unfortunately only 2 different shirtless poses and they are both holding enormour 81mm mortar rounds.

Thanks, poiter. Not sure that would work. Perhaps they were BF WWII arty crews, though.

Not much help, but GHQ makes 1/285 shirtless WWII artillerymen for the US and other nations. Maybe you caught a glimpse of a photo of these:

Might work, Etranger. Thanks – I'll look more closely at it, although I'd have to add pants legs to them.

That might have been what I was thinking, Jeigheff. I'll keep looking though. Even if I have to modify something, I don't mind.

Old Glory (UK) has shirtless 8th Army artillerymen. Code CDDRC03 DESERT RAT ARTILLERY CREWS.
