Anyone has done pics and size compatibility for AWI 10mm figs? I'd go for the Pendraken, mainly but Kallistra has got some very nice ones. I wonder if they could mix considering the Pendraken are bigger than usual? |

Ok a stupid question possibly. I have seen ACW compared so kallistra foolishly goes with nothing else. Too bad they are really nice. Hoped they could mix, snif. |

Generally Kallistra stuff is much bigger than other 10mm manufacturers. Apparently their figures were initially scaled to match the Pendraken Fantasy figures – which were quite big, much bigger than Pendraken's historicals. Both the Kallistra and Pendraken AWI look really nice figures – it is a shame they don't mix too well. |

The Kallistra range is not intended to be compatible with the Pendraken range – measured to eye level Kallistra are 12mm whilst Pendraken are 10mm. There is a considerable variation in 'heft' with Kallistra being chunkier figures and having thicker bases than Pendraken. In overall size from bottom of base to top of the figure/headwear Kallistra are 15/16mm and Pendraken 12/13mm. I definitely would not mix the figures together in the same unit and I would have to think long and hard whether I would mix on the same table. |
