Here's the first of the Cowgirls from my blog Give Away. This one is named for my sister Theresa and there is a story that goes with her on my blog link
This figure is from Reaper and was sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. I've also got the Billiards Vignette from Knuckleduster up on the painting table! I'm hoping to do a W.I.P. on that next week. |

Nice paint job. Mold line on the hat hurts it. |

You guys are right about the mold line. Now that you've pointed it out, it's the only thing I can see. As a newbie painter there are so many things I'm still not getting right. Like my basing. It's better, but it still has a long ways to go. |

Theresa is beautiful !!! (the fig! but I'm sure that your sister is also beautiful!) Hello Sam Wise! I may post pics of all of us on the blog when I'm done. She does look a lot like this figure. |

Don't worry about moldlines, Anne. I don't. It's a fantastically beautiful job. ?And you call yourself a newbie painter
?! The yellow shirt just glows! ARE you using oils? It doesn't seem you could get that quality of color out of acrylics! |

Beautiful work. I saw that mini at my local shop and wasn't really impressed. But now that I see this, you might have helped Reaper get a sale. |

Funny, my first thought when I saw the heading was the Great Chicago Fire. Legend has it the fire started when Mrs O'leary's cow kicked over a lantern. |

Reaper Mustard, Golden Yellow then up to Saffron Yellow. I did the highlights with Citadel Edge paint in their yellow colour. I like those Edge paints as they really add a glow to the finished piece. |

Funny, my first thought when I saw the heading was the Great Chicago Fire. Legend has it the fire started when Mrs O'leary's cow kicked over a lantern. I have a cousin who moved to the States and when I went to visit her she told me that everyone in America hated my family because we burnt down Chicago. She told me not to tell people what my last name was as they'd beat me up. I was terrified and she got in trouble. She's a Kiernan, not an O'Leary so she was safe. |

It would be funny to have a cow with a lantern next to it
