Traveling to fredericksburg this weekend from upstate ny. Looking for shops in Baltimore, Washington, fredricksburg, and Harrisburg. I do 15mm ACW, some micro armor, and some napolanics.
Thanks

Nothing in DC itself in terms of miniatures. Your best bet is Game Parlor in Chantilly, Va. It's a good store, although not really to my tastes: A bit too Games Workshop heavy, although they have a good selection of rulebooks and board games.

Store link: gameparlor.com

I should add there is Labyrinth Games at Eastern Market in D.C. if you're on the hunt for board games. It's a neat little store, although nothing in terms of miniatures. labyrinthgameshop.com

Huzzah Hobbies in Ashburn is a phenomenal gaming store with lost of table space. Game Parlor used to be a favorite, and they used to have a significant historical selection but they don't seem to restock historical stuff, so its hit or miss now. Compleat Strategist in Falls Church, as well as Victory Comics. Strategist used to have a small eclectic collection. Do a search on the boards, you will find more.

If you like boardgames or RPGs then stop at "Days of Knights" onthe way to Baltimore, it is on the Delaware/Maryland border. I make it a point to stop there when going down to DC.

Fredericksburg's own Game Vault is excellent.
Glen Burnie (outskirts of Baltimore) has two excellent game stores within about 3 miles of each other: DropZone Games and Games and Stuff.
Eagle & Empire is in Alexandria, VA---just across the river from DC.

Note, Game Parlor in Chantilly used to require a table fee to play in-store. We were introduced to the fee as we were packing up from a game and there were no signs saying it was required. Don't know if it's still their policy but you should ask.

All the other stores I've mentioned list as having free gaming space.

Harrisburg has the Adventurer's Guild, been a couple of years since I was though so I don't know how it is these days. I know they changed ownership since I was last passing though.

York, PA has the Comic Store West. It's been even longer since I've been there but they used to have a nice mix of gaming stuff as well as comics.

Eagles and Empires has very odd hours, and even when they are supposed to be open they aren't.

Game Parlor still has stock from 12 years ago when I move to DC on the shelves, still at those prices. Unfortunately they are minis nobody needs and they refuse to get more. There is a fee to play games on their tables.

Dream Wizards in Rockville carries a great deal of Games Workshop stuff, roleplaying games, euro-board games and other gaming material. They have space for games in the back and a friendly staff. No historical stuff (that I have seen).
