Dear All,

Just to let you know that we will be recreating the French dusk counter attack at Lutzen to commemorate the 200th anniversary of that battle. The Hall of Heroes, Campbelltown, NSW, Sunday 5th May. Black Powder rules with local mods. If you're in the vic then do please come and say hi…

I'm with Lord R, I'd love to be there, but airfare would necessitate me selling a lot of figures.

Have a great game, looks awesome!!
Please take lots of photos and post along with your report.

Thats the plan – assuming I remember my camera and don't get to caught up in the game. Hopefully for posterity my Brigades will be broken early doors and I'll morph into an embed!

Ha Sparker…in the picture you posted…I see what looks like 7 battalions of Russians and Prussians and 2 French skirmishers.

That appears to be somewhat unfair and the odds are stacked badly.

You might want to put in a few more Russians and Prussians to make it fair. It would be a shame for those 2 Frenchmen to have to fight so few allies and not get any glory from kicking more butt then 7 battalions.

Well they are Voltigeurs….

Seriously they are just there for decoration. BP handles urban combat very well. That town is split into 2 'blocks' each of which is occupied by a set garrison, I think the max is 1 Line Bn, 1 gun and 1 skirmish unit. Anyway these are represented nominally as they get a set amount to fire out of each face. These are just there to represent the blocks being occupied.
