Vols 5 and 6 are ridiculously hard to come by. What alternatives are available for Austrian and Prussian uniforms of the War of Austrian succession? Thx Mike |

I'd be interested in the Danish/German volume that included the Bavarians. Oh, and the big book he did that had all the flags in it. |

Dear Roger The Austrian WAS is covered in my two books. Although the title says 7YW. This was remidied in the subseqent books. link link The Prussian Musketeer regiments of WAS and 7YW are covered in Volume I including the flags that were mainly the M1713 pattern. I am currently writing Volume II on the Fusilier and Grenadier Bns. One chapter will cover the uniform of the four Fusilier Regiments that were converted. The Grenadiers showed some changes in the mitre from the earlier period. link Just for completeness the Saxon Army of WAS and 7YW link I hope that assists. Stephen |

Supercilious – try a search under the War of Austrian Succession title online with a company called On Military Matters. He's got quite the collection for sale there. Good Luck Mike |

Some but not all have been reproduced by OMM. The ones that you were interested have not. They are stocked by Caliver Books in UK. Stepehn |

The Manley booklets are essential. What happened to the author himself? |
