I'm a bit surprised that I have not been able to find a 15mm model of a WW2 US infantryman with a rifle launched grenade. Does anyone know such a model? I think some of the PSC German models have rifle launched grenades in 15mm, but that's all I'm aware of. If anyone has any ideas, I'd really appreciate it. For now, I have to put a token next to a regular rifleman to indicate who has the grenade launcher. It'd be nice to have an actual model. |

I thought some of the FoW guys had a rifle grenade, but then at that scale, it could just be flash that I am thinking is a rifle grenade. |

At least from looking at the FoW model photos in the online store, there doesn't seem to be any. In the blisters I've purchased, there certainly were none. Thanks for the suggestion, though. |

You don't 'really' need them. It pops on and off very easy, and most of the time it will not be on the rifle. In theory each squad had three of them, but they were easily lost so they were always short. If you want you can just glue a little protrusion onthe end of a rifle, or just maek the figure as carrying one. |

For simple mental record keeping, I use a figure with a bayonet tipped rifle to represent my grenade launcher. It helps me to keep track of where he is on the table. |

Thanks for the ideas. I put a small plastic bead next to the model, so I know who has it in case he becomes a casualty. I just hoped there would be a dedicated model in this scale. I have them for both my US and German forces in 28mm. While they certainly didn't keep the grenades loaded all the time, it just is visually more appealing to have it modeled. I'm terrible at converting models, so whatever I might do on my own would end up looking stupid. I guess I'm stuck unless someone knows of this kind of model. Seems like a small gap that a model company could fill one day. |

While they certainly didn't keep the grenades loaded all the time I think he was referring to the 'Rifle Grenade Launcher, M7' attachment rather than the grenade. |

rhisiart, Thanks! I'll have to check that out! |

"In theory each squad had three of them,
" Do you mean each platoon? None of the TO&Es I've seen list more than one per squad. |
