Dear Peter Pig

Having been a loyal follower of of your exellent World war one Range for many years,I think it would be nice to see a range of late war French in your range or even some Turks…

The range and figures are great. and it would be even better, ( i am sure) if there were some late war French etc to compliment the range. I am sure fellow WORLD wAR ONE followers would agree.

I absolutely agree and have been pestering Peter Pig for years. I think they should also bring out late war Americans and then they would have a near monopoly of the period in 15mm.

Of course I would also like them to complete the early war range first.

Keep up the pressure.

Love to see early war Serbians too.

I vote for all the above. Turks especially.

French will get done. Thanks for the confidence. Not well at the moment but will get back to production when things are better. WW1 French will look very smart with their chauchat LMGs and big coats. Always enjoyed the Airfix WW1 French. Some of the most interesting figures ever. The prancing officer, pigeon man and cyclist..excellent

Don't forget 1914 Belgian dismounted cavalry. Centenary coming up soon.

Or East Africa……..

admiraldecourson29 Apr 2013 10:59 a.m. PST

And some really scruffy Anzacs,,,and some very blown up casualty figures perhaps….

That's good to hear Martin. Need Tommies with grenades and rifle grenades too.

You can use the PP WW2 French for variety.
The Airfix French were , for me, the best set they did.

Many nations adopted the French Adrian helmet including the Belgians,Italians and Serbians in WW1.

So late war French in long coats/blouses with blanket roles would be good for the range.

The WW2 French are close but the back packs are to late for me and plus the rifle without a bayonet,,,,

Am I right in thinking that in a standard infantry pack you get 6 regs and 2 officers?

mashrewba07 Jun 2013 9:53 a.m. PST

You get 7 ORs and one officer although new stuff is released as either ORs or command. I don't know if the make up of old figs packs will be changed.

ahh right. I really like the figures (I have the AWI range and love them!) but I don't need all those officers. I'll see what they do!
