link Separate heads! And they fit the plastics too! |

great news, won't need the old Foundry ones now ! hope there is some command in the pipeline. |

I am a bit puzzled by the sprues, though. Six figures, and 3 sprues with 4 different heads? It means that I will have to buy more, of course. Clever. |

I love the idea of separate heads. When the Continental plastics come out I can finally have figures in caps and huntings shirts. |

This also gives me hope for a separate sprue of Fusilier heads. |

<<great news, won't need the old Foundry ones now ! hope there is some command in the pipeline.>> You can probably use the command from the plastic set for now, as British officers tended to look scruffy in the field to avoid drawing attention to themselves, but I believe there will be some separate command for these as well. |

SM; HG NEVER looks scruffy in the field. Why, he is a model for all Marine officers
Well, actually, I think he's the only Marine officer I've ever seen

My mistake. It's 3 types of caps per sprue, and 3 sprues. Math works out OK now. |

Thanks John. I thought maybe the Perry Fanboyz were messing with me again. One dare not do anything remotely resembling criticism of the Gods around here |

One may NOT criticise the Gods! All hail the Perry Twins, THE miniature sculptors! |

I don't think they're THAT small. |

I'm sure that real Perry Fanboys (such as myself :)) can appreciate other ranges, especially very good ones like F&D and various smaller scale ranges. And it's even possible to criticise issues such as Perry casting quality whilst still retaining official Fanboy status (I know because I codified that rule). The Perries are ranging across various AWI theatres and that's a good thing. Another good thing is that the general excellence of the various ranges available at the moment, and indeed Jim's magnificent enthusiasm, can only benefit the period, which in turn makes the AWI gaming experience more enjoyable. Perry, Fife & Drum, Old Glory, Peter Pig, Pendraken, Parkfield, Front Rank, Trident etc – all working towards a common aim :) |

I seem to have picked up 12 stifles today, probably related to some comments I've made about Perry. Some people have thin skins it seems, grow up please. If you have a beef with me then man up and drop me a personal message and I'd be happy to talk it out with you. That would be much better than hiding behind the internet anonymously. Thank you Giles for a well thought out commentary to which I agree whole heartedly. Would that others would follow your example. I am a also a consumer of Perry products. I like their sculpts, I just wish that they would work on improving the quality of their casting process. |

Whe I see a new Perry pack that I desperately need, my first thought is "All right! Volunteers of Ireland, and sculpted by the Perrys!" My second thought is "And now I will have to be extra careful tht I get all the vent worms cleaned off
" More than once I have primed the figures only to find more vent worms that I missed. They still look great when finished. |

Vent worms! Great! A new product they can sell! |
