Hi all. Wanting to convert a sd kfz 251 to a sd kfz 251/10. Need a pak 36 (but not necessarily any crew) I can chop up to mount on the half track (I assume it's the same weapon). I'd go Warlord but I don't really want to spend 12 pound on something I'm not going to use the crew for, (or wheels, trail etc).. Thanks for any help or suggestions… |

Further to the above, I wonder if I could scratch build one? I'm a pretty clever fellow after all:) It was sometimes mounted without the gun shield, yes? |

BTD have 1 for under 12 pounds if you become a "premium member". They also rotate sales so you might get it cheaper still if you wait. However, I have no idea if it matches the scale of your 251. |

HI GandJ, yeah BTD is an option. Have to say, though, I'm starting to warm to the idea of trying to scratch build one. Could be an interesting project. I always learn a lot about a thing when I'm trying to build one.. |

How about a PSC Russian 45mm gun? Based on the PAK 36. In fact as the kit has three types of gun barrel, all you need is a spare short gun barrel off someone… |
