I've been looking for a picture of the goddess Issus, as it appeared in the film, on the wall of the Thark temple.

I keep thinking it looked a lot like this pose of the Egyptian goddess Selket, standing with arms extended, as she appears in front of Tutankhamun's golden shrine:

I would really like to be sure though.

Thanks,

Dan

I can't find it anywhere on that page either.

Ok. I found one somewhere else, on a really weird website:

The image does confirms my suspicions about the garments, though I wish the pic had been a cleaner copy.

Perhaps there's a concept sketch somewhere . . .

It seems like the pose is seen time and time again in the film:

Ok. I found one somewhere else, on a really weird website:

You ain't kidding. Either that guy is pulling an elaborate prank for his own amusement, or he's nuttier than a loaded sundae.

Holy Bleeped text I just read like 10 pages of that mans ramblings, and can officially confirm that no sundae, loaded or otherwise, has enough nuts to be used in a comparison with him.

You know you're only egging him on. ;->=

His visit counter must be off the map; didn't go there myself, mind you…

That site is either the most brilliant piece of deep level satire I have ever read or it is a remarkable cry for mental help.
Whatever the case, it is very entertaining.

LOL. Either way, very odd indeed.
