I really like the way they made curved pieces.

CorSecEng25 Apr 2013 9:35 a.m. PST

It's called a living hinge. I hope they did the math. They are rather fragile if you don't get them perfect.

War Monkey25 Apr 2013 1:16 p.m. PST

I Hope they come out with those buildings in 15mm myself, Like the rooftop stuff too.

BPLASER26 Apr 2013 1:54 a.m. PST

I'm Glad you like them.
International postage is still expensive, But I am looking for another carrier.
Yes, I am currently designing the 28mm into 15mm… may take a while :), but I will get there.
Any questions, feel free to email me.

The only reason I haven't ordered yet is the shipping and the possibility of import duties. Though I've ordered similar products from the states, that should have triggered tax and came in a very large box (another trigger?) but came through unscathed so are wood products exempt? and yes they did an accurate value declaration, though that could be a solution ;D

Shipping has kept me from ordering as well. I just got a package from Slave to Painting out of NZ for 7.50 flat shipping through DHL freight. Maybe you could do the same.

BPLASER27 Apr 2013 3:13 a.m. PST

Thanks, I'm currently looking at DHL, hopefully we will see a drop in postage :)

These are really great-looking! The shipping to the USA is killer, but I guess you have to expect that, with the Pacific between us and all.

In case anyone's sitting on the fence about ordering gear and is worried about shipping, our shipping deal is still in effect.
If you buy 4.5 -5 kilos of product, we will ship anywhere in the world for $50.00 AUD including insurance.

I realize that running a sale on weight is a little difficult, but this is the easiest way to calculate around Aust post!
In the product descriptions, you will find accurate weights in grammes that you can use to calculate a total.
If your total falls between 4.5 and 5 kilos, you will automatically get the discount at the checkout.

As for overall product prices, I believe that we are comparable to any MDF scenery manufacturer in the world and on average I think that we provide more value for dollar.

We have also striven to set a extremely high quality standard which we do not comprise on.

If you have any questions about ordering or just about our products in general, please email me at bplaser@internode.on.net

I have to tell you, I'm sorely tempted, but I'll not really be able to consider any new game projects until the autumn sometime, too much else to complete. But your material is really first rate! Is your shipping deal in effect only for a limited time? And if so, how limited?

BPLASER15 Aug 2013 2:34 p.m. PST

At the moment I would consider the shipping deal as semi permanent. Or at least until the AUD drops a bit more :)
I have had some interest from people for a 5 kilo terrain box, and am currently putting together a package deal based on that. I should have the details organized by next week .
