Has anyone yet purchased the Perry Miniatures AWI 176 Camp Set, and does it include the soldier carrying a bucket?

Perry website shows the 'bucket man' on its WIP section but he is AWOL on the actual product listing.

And a General can't afford to lose a good bucket-man now, can he?

I'm not the man I used to be at camp, oh, no, no, no…Bucket Man…

I imagine it's because he made seven pieces, as opposed to the usual six pieces per pack. He'll probably turn up in another set.

And I think its gonna be a long long time, till gen'ral Sherman, Comes 'round to find, I'm not the steward the think I am at all no no no no….I'm the bucket man

RMD, no I don't think so. Two women, three seated soldiers and the bucket-man still only make six.

In the words of Toyah, "It's a mystery".

I packed my sack last night, pre-fight,
lost my bucket, 9am.
And I think I'll be dead,
as a stone by then.

Valley Forge aint the place to raise your kids.
In fact, it's cold as hell.
And there's no bucket's there to help you,
if you did…

I wonder how many people read the thread title and instantly sung (in their heads) the Elton John song? Ha, ha.

Perhaps the cooking pot and fire constitutes a sixth 'figure'. I would like the 'bucket-man' also, although, FYI, Wargames Foundry has one in its AWI range. I think it might be a boy though.

…and I think I'm going play it one more time

Is the bucket man just borrowed from an artillery set?

Here is a wild idea, have you tried contacting the Perrys directly to find out if this is intended or just a Bleeped text?

Look again at the online catalogue – the bucket man has appeared !

Ah, yes indeed. People power, I guess. Many thanks.

That is pretty audacious of you FM. I do declare you have managed to wangle a free figure off the Perry Twins. The original 'sixth' must surely have been the large cooking-fire.

Congratulations.

(Please do not start humming the Cliff Richard record of the same. Please do not!)

Is the bucket man just borrowed from an artillery set?

Interesting question and no, I think it might be a new figure.

AW 104 – Artillery in shirt sleeve order loading howitzer, is what I think you may be referring to Redcoat55, but he holds the bucket in his left hand and his waistcoat is unbuttoned.

AW 176 – Camp set (these could be used for either side) and he holds his bucket right-handed, waistcoat buttoned, and he is missing his front-left incisor tooth. Oh, and he walks like an American!! evil grin
