Turn 1 is finished in my Piquet Solo Tutorial replay of the ACW Battle of Cross Keys. The Hallowed Ground supplement and 28mm figures were used. Enjoy! link |

Great posts. Piquet is great for solo gaming. I only moved away from it because I like tactical rather than operational gaming. Joe |

Well, Hallowed Ground and Les Grognards both run at 3 different scales: Company scale, Battalion scale, and Grand Tactical. |

Great stuff. I'm looking forward to more. |

Boyinblue, Never looked at those, just the WW II stuff. The Piquet rules left me flat for large skirmish. Went with TW&T and Sharp Practice from TFLs. Again I think it is great for the larger stuff. Joe |

I like the TFL stuff too. I have a bunch of their scenario sets for IABSM. New update to the solo game here: link Enjoy! Dave |

Just started reading these reports. Really interesting! I can't wait to see how it turns out. certainly down to the wire. That's one of the great things about Piquet&Field of Battle. No guarantee of a win simply because you have an edge. Frankly, I find it pretty much impossible to play any other tactical set now. The chaos/fog of war present in the rules makes game play so much better (for our group) that anything else would seem bland. I am absolutely crazy about them! Please post the rest of the battle when you can. Thanks, John |
