The second of our three auctions for raising cash for the Battlegames Combat Stress Appeal is now live at auction

This time, it's a terrific trio of books signed by well-known Arthurian author Daniel Mersey: (the now quite rare) Legendary Warriors; Arthur King of the Britons; and a copy of Dux Bellorum.

Please come along and get bidding!

I've bookmarked it for the consideration of my chief financial officer grin

Should someone in the states win, is it possible to get a somewhat lower rate on the postage? 27 pounds sterling is a bit steep for three books. Just saying.

I do, however, commend you for this auction. It's a worthy charity and one that could use more support.

@TKindred

Unfortunately, that's precisely what the Post Office charges. The parcel of books weighs 1660grams – see

royalmail.com/price-finder and enter USA as the destination, weight 1660 grams, delivery within 5 days, item value £50.00 GBP (a guess on my part, but with the Legendary Warriors book turning up for £75.00 GBP+ on some sites, your guess is as good as mine) and delivery confirmation required.

If a buyer requests – and can find – a cheaper option then by all means.

No problem, Henry.

Happy to help if I can.

I will place a bid soon.
If I don't win these excellent books, i did raise the price!
