Obviously a botched sabotage attempt. The Yanks know they can't beat us on the high seas, so they resort to a filthy sneak attack. Who taught them that little trick? Remember the Winnipeg!!! Hoser |

Years from now, historians will look back on this moment as the beginning of World War 3. |

It was a tow missile
of a sort. The Winnepeg 6 are already being booked through their agent for the talk show circuit. |

But wait, didn't Rick Mercer make the argument that since Canada is a land-locked country it doesn't really need a Navy and should just rely on the US to protect it? ;oP |

Canada has a Navy?(Ducks and covers) Been on or around the Great lakes a number of times and have never seen one. Perhaps attacks such as this have gone on covertly for many years and have limited Canadian Naval progress. |

Didn't we resolve the Pig War back in the 1850s? Has it been festering ever since to suddenly flare back to life? Oh, the humanity! |

Of course we have a Navy we even have inland submarines that patrol the West Edmonton Mall. |

We have a STEALTH navy that's so good – nobody can find it, not even us. |

Hmmm, why are we being blamed for poor seamanship, and the inability to properly tow a small fishing vessel? Surely, not an example of Canadian seamanship at its finest. I smell a rat. Typical of them to blame us though. Probably a pretext for an invasion from the north, since they covet our warm weather climate, and rock-bottom real estate prices, eh. |

Dafydd will be along in a minute, telling us it was crewed by Chechen AQ with SAS advisors, Lord Lucan and Shergar. |

Here in Manhattan, I've seen a Canadian Navy corvette in the East River. Obviously the incursion was repelled because the burger places don't have poutine on the menu. No pasaran! If the fishing boat had been serious, they'd have had boarding pikes and cutlasses. |

Of course we have a Navy we even have inland submarines that patrol the West Edmonton Mall. And don't forget the Russian sub in Vancouver. Probably a pretext for an invasion from the north, since they covet our warm weather climate, and rock-bottom real estate prices, eh. They are massing on the border after all

Too bad there wasn't a reef close to the Canadian warship. I am sure the US ship would have hit that instead

Six injured? With that many people aboard, it must have been the flagship of the Canadian Navy! |

We also used to have a submarine patrolling a lake in the Haliburton Forest: YouTube link But I think it's gone now. |

Six injured?! Slivers of snapping oars no doubt. |
