Hey guys, I have been having a clean out and found 3 small plastic boxes of star wars minis for the star ware miniatures battles. Just wondering what they are worth and if they are worth hanging on to. the boxes have the following: 9 painted storm troopers and one unpainted commander 9 painted rebel troops and unpainted commander. assorted rebels (some with endor camo) r2d2, c3po, a tauntaun and rider
and i know i have a speeder bike and rider somewhere. Are these worth anything (i did have them on ebay Australia, and after 8 days i had no interested bidders (listed price started at #$30) and 1 watcher. Any help (or offers) would be great Regards, |

Ever since the release of the WotC Collectible miniatures the demand for the WEG metal figs has decreased significantly. Certain figs like Scout Troopers still sell well. As you can see there are a lot of figs for sale on eBay and they aren't selling very much. Of course these sellers may be asking more than they are worth. When they were the only Star Wars miniatures available and after they went out of print, Stormtrooper regularly sold for $5 USD+ per miniature. Rebel Troopers sold for $2 USD-3 per fig. auction You could have had the problem of being in Australia. I avoid buying from Australia because the shipping to and from there is so ridiculously high. I'm guessing other people have the same issue. |

I was recently checking my stash of WEG SW figures and I'm shockingly low on stormtroopers
How much would it cost to ship to belgium? I could offer you 25 AUD for them, that way I keep under the VAT/import duty threshold. |

They are worth quite a bit, if you can find the right buyer. |

they're not worth that much anymore
I recently bought a blister with Tatooine Luke, C3PO and R2D2 on ebay for only 11 euro. For what are undoubtedly the most iconic characters, that's a nice price. I picked it up because I needed this Luke to replace the cardboard counter in the "Escape from the death star" game, I already had the others. All the other blisters and boxes that seller had on offer back then (now two months ago) still seem be all there. And his "buy now" prices are very reasonable. |

$5.00 USD a figure is a lot to me, especially given their scale. Granted, not to a GW gamer, probably, but for us cheap, historical gamers, that's quite a bit of dough. |

@Mako11 Finding the right person to get good money for them is the key though. Also $5 USD is a lot for a 25mm miniature, miniatures which definitely aren't the highest quality sculpts. As I said, that was about 7 to 10 years ago when they were selling for $5 USD per fig. Now I'm guessing $2 USD-$3 a fig is more likely the best you will get for Stormtroopers. Of course if you encounter the right buyer on the right day, you could get more. |

Witteridderludo, i will chase up some postage costs for you (i work the same hours as a post office, so it may take a few days). i had them on ebay for $30.00 AUD, and there were no interested bidders, so depending on postage costs and if they are suitable for you, ill be happy to sell them to you |

Wouldn't you be taxed on the total (postage+product) price? |

only the value of the goods |

Are there any West End minis that don't have plastic counter parts in the WotC line? |
