Hi, I am not a big fan of gamesworkshop's LOTR range as they are based on the film's,but instead i much prefer mithril's range of figures being that they are more bassed on the books. here is a couple of pics of a olog hai troll i painted yesterday. cheers Ray tnkmodels.com

A very 'painterly' style there, I like it. The Mithril figures better suit the images I had in my head as I read those books as a child. |

The Mithril figures are classics I think. I have a painter buddy in France who painted up an entire set. He posted the link here a month or so ago. |

Mithril Miniatures are great! I have a whole bunch of them. I haven't seen too many in recent years, though. None of the gaming stores I frequent carry them, I guess. |

I buy them direct from mithril, they are what i thought orcs etc looked like from reading the books,i willbe getting Smaug next. |
