Hello,

I'm looking for a paint service company.Preferably in the Uk or so (I live in Belgium).
I came across Reinforcements by Post (in Bagladesh) but unfortunatly they don't take orders anymore.Got an email today from Neil.
I'm looking for someone that doen't mind just blocking in the basic colours. At RBP this wasn't any problem.

This way I hope to reduce my ever growing pile of lead & plastics.I use the Army Painter dip method and then apply highlights etc..a bit David Imrie style :o)
So,how much would it cost to paint a 28mm figure?
The figures don't need bases or anything, just the basic colours blocked in.
They already have a black undercoat.
If you can give me more info I would really appreciate it.Many thanks.
With kind regards
Kurt

Are there none in Belgium?

Maybe ask the Tin Soldiers of Antwerp.

I would recommend Aide-de-Camp painting services adcpainting.co.uk

I've used him for a couple of years and his quality is superb

Second recommendation for Gareth at ADC. He's been painting stuff for me for over twenty years and is invariably excellent and reasonably priced.

Hey

Don't all use ADC I'm intending to post him my first figures tomorrow! I want them back this year ;-) lol

Mark, did he do your AB's for the Auerstadt re-fight a few years back? How much direction does he need for Napoleonic uniforms? 1806 Prussians and 1805 Russians for instance?

hi I would love to paint for you this is my blog link

Jemima Fawr24 Apr 2013 2:33 a.m. PST

Nick,

I didn't use him for Auerstaedt (I painted the Prussian Guards, Jaegers, a couple of Cuirassier Regiments and some Infantry Regiments), but Mike Hickling did at my instigation and Gareth painted all the Grenadier Battalions for the Prussian Reserve Corps in that game. Mike also used Simon Millar to paint some urgently-required units, such as the Queen's Dragoons, Bluecher Hussars and some other bits.

Gareth did however, paint quite a few bits for me for the Waterloo game at the NAM – mainly Hanoverians, including the Hussars (now in Dave Brown's collection).

Gareth's very good re Napoleonic uniforms. He's been doing ABs for me and others for the last 20 years and they tend to be his 'bread and butter' (God knows he's borrowed enough of my books over the years).

However, understanding Ferg's pain, I must say: don't use him, he's rubbish. ;o)

Thanks Mark – truly inspired by your re-fights by the way.

Would have to agree with Mark and Ferg sentiments….

Mainly as Gareth has been/is busy with some stuff for me recently :)

Ray at TNK in Northern Ireland…Ray did my wife's WW2 20mm Indians – they are superb and the price was very reasonable.

Well, I may as well throw myself into the mix here! I'm pretty well booked for the next couple of months but for the future I'd like to find a 'patron' who is prepared to pay a reasonable rate for my brushwork skills and time. Here's a link to my blog/ galleries and a few examples of my 28mm work I have added below. I can be contacted via the blog.

I'm not cheap in this scale, but you do get a quality job.

Thanks for looking,
Lee.
