Really love the Perry French High Command and Mounted Colonels from the AWI range, and there isn't much of comparable quality available specifically for the FiW. Could I get away with using these, or are the uniforms radically different? |

The uniforms are VERY different. Of course, I cannot tell you what to put on YOUR table, but I would not. |

No--I could live with a few very minor doffs, but otherwise I'll wait for Conquest or Northstar to come out with something apropos. Thanks John! |

I have used Crusader, they are very nice!
These are mixed with Perry indians and Conquest civilians for comparison. |

You might want to look at some of the French mounted and foot command from the 30mm Willie line: link Good sculpting, elegant poses, lots of character, slender (realistic) anatomy and not too tall to go with most modern 28mm figures. Too tall to mix with Conquest, though. |

I would, but that's just me

Anatoli used some Perry Hessians Jaegers and Continentals in hunting shirts, I believe- complete heresy but I think they look really great. Maybe he will see this and link to his blog. |

Redoubt do a nice F&I war range too – sizewise compatible with Northstar/Galloping Major. Includes regulars, British Light Infantry and canoes! Also don't forget Front Rank who also do a nice range. |
