For days I've been racking my brains, trying to remember where I saw a guide to all Russian Infantry Miter colors. I can recall that each mitered regiment had two distinctive colors: one for the bag behind the miter, and one for the band around the back. The edging of the band, and the trim on the bag, were always white. Can someone help with a source on this color scheme by regiment? IIRC, one color is by inspection, the other by shoulder strap color? Thanks |

No sooner did I give up hope and appeal to TMP, that I found my missing source on The Napoleon Series. For anyone interested, here's the link: link |

I love miters but alas I've finished all the Russian Grenadiers I planed. |

I'm building early period Russians in 1/72 plastic. I'm taking the miter heads off the Italeri Pavlovs and putting them on HaT 1805 infantry. So any grenadiers wearing miters from 1805-07 will do. It should be a great looking unit – none like it on the planet, which is why I love conversion work so much. |
