My only suggestion would be to connect with UVa. From memories while working there, the student body seems to major in lots of humanities. Perhaps the "Gaming Club" can point you in the correct direction
gamersatuva.com/smf/index.php link While I presume the Gaming Club is focused on video games, you never know. A few years ago, I went to a nice game store in Charlottesville. Currently, the name may be Cville's Hobbies Games and Toys. Obviously, you are well situated to attend conventions in Fredricksburg, DC, Williamsburg, Danville's Tank Shock or even Triangle Simulation Society games in Raleigh. |

I'm in the C'ville are most weekends. I don't have any of my gaming gear down there, but I'd happily play if you're hosting! :) C.B. Stevens |

Hi Peter! I live in Charlottesville, welcome to the area! I am mainly a collector and a modeler, but have been known to game FOW, 20mm ww2, and have an addiction to 28 mm. Currently working On Dystopian Legions. This is a pretty big board gaming area, and there is a local board game convention, Prezcon, in Feb. cville Hobbies and Games and The End both offer open space ( call ahead ) for gaming. Email me if you get a chance, mrdeane@comcast.net. Bob Deane |

The Battle Barn gamers play every other saturday near williamsburg about 90min from C'ville. (if no traffic) we have gamers from that area drive up a few times a year to play games. Check out our yahho site
