That thing looks flippin' huge. A nice job, but I have to admit I'd like to see the same Hammerhead camo pattern on this guy too. |

It needs a Fire Warrior beside it, for scale! |

very nice! while i agree the hammerhead camo looks awsome, i wonder why so many people use this "default desert pattern" on their tau armies? |

I was thinking maybe since that seems to be a quasi-official scheme, it helps maintain resale value if they ever drop the army? |

Your blog is very nice! especially the special effects! I have this problem with their very small flimsy legs and after my friend broke off a couple of Crisis suits
I am not sure
Textbook colour schemes are good in case fickle minded people wants to sell them, but its good too! |

It needs a Fire Warrior beside it, for scale! Is Guardsman Bob acceptable?

i wonder why so many people use this "default desert pattern" on their tau armies? Likely because it looks good, tho it should be noted it is the home/fleet uniform of the Tau homeworld and its Sept not just some random theatre specific scheme. |

I think Mardaddy is right. A friend who has had a number of 40k armies and who sells them when he tires of them says he goes by the codex exactly for that reason: to maintain resale value. Myself, I'd rather make the army my own, but different strokes for different folks. |

Riptide? Shouldn't it be called Sailor Moon or Bubble Gum or similar? |

Riptide sounds like a decepticon name, call the lawyers IP infringement. |
