I spent a shocking amount of cash at Salute yesterday. Please check out the Scrivsland blog for a review of the Perry Miniatures Desert Rats and Universal Carrier.

Are all the vehicles you are doing for this 1/56th?

Looks like the tanks are in your 1/48th catalog…?

Hi,

We will be covering 1/72, 1/56 and 1/48 scale vehicles.

The tanks featured with the Perrys models at Salute and featured over the weekend are 1/56 scale vehicles.

We don't have these 1/56 tanks listed for sale yet on the website, however I will update the this later tonight to reflect the new models.

The new models will be available direct from ourselves or from the Perry miniatures commencing the 1st week in May 2013.

Hope this helps

Kind regards

Paul

Are the new perry vehicles traditional scratch or digital printing?

Blitzkriegminiatures22 Apr 2013 11:56 a.m. PST

Hello Neil,

The universal carrier is scratch built.

regards

Paul

Why is the carrier scratch built and the other items are CAD designed ?

Blitzkriegminiatures02 May 2013 12:35 p.m. PST

Hi Buelow,

The easy answer is that the vehicles are from 2 different companies.

The Perry miniatures universal carrier was created by a modeller called 'NR' who provides a lot of the excellent Perry models.

The 1/56 scale Blitzrieg models were 3d cad designed and printed.

Hope that explains it a little better?
