We ran this event yesterday at The Time Machine hobby store's great gaming space (across the street from the store proper), with rules author Russ Lockwood as one of the players ("So THIS is what it is like to actually PLAY my own game!")LOL!
As GM, I was deliberately coy (as Joe put it) about the table set up, so as to introduce a real aspect of uncertainty into the operations, which were spread across ten tables – only one of which was never really used
but could easily have been!
This post, part 1, covers the set up, deployment and initial moves of the "campaign in a day", based upon the situation at the end of the Armistice in August, 1813.
