Shown for the 1st time at Salute 2013 on the Perry Miniatures stand was our new range of 1/56 scale WW2 vehicles. Working with our good friends Michael & Alan Perry we hope to provide a comprehensive range of vehicles & artillery in addition to there excellent desert war figure range.

We have for release at the start of May 2013 the following British and Italian tanks to support the excellent one piece Perry's universal bren carrier:

Valentine MK2
Crusader MK1 or MK2

Get ready for a huge range of vehicles coming over the next few weeks.

Kind regards the team at Blitzkrieg Miniatures

The Universal carrier strikes me as being very good value at £15.00 GBP

Thanks Paul,

Posted embarrassingly close to this one that I should have seen it. Oops!

Amazing model Bren gun carrier, will have to get a couple. I like the pose of the soldiers particularly the rear seated guy – very casual and certainly can be used elsewhere.

Thanks for your quick response.

I too picked up a Bren carrier at Salute, it's an incredibly fine piece of casting! Crew are superb and I liked all the equipment options.

Any plans for a Matilda?

Hi Pict17,

Thank you for the kind feedback, we do pride ourselves on the quality of our resin casting.

We will provide an initial list of British vehicles/artillery releases to support the Perry's ranges later this week, I am sure you will be delighted with what is coming soon.

regards

Paul

Looks like my 8th Army side-project will become very soon a major focus of mine. I love the 1:56 scale of the Perry's Desert Rats and indeed the Bren Carrier is a superb model.
And in a couple of months the Afrikakorps will be upon us as well…

Glory days :-)

Cheers

I have to say, I didn't realise until just now that they had released some metal Italian figures to go with the plastic boxed set:

I thought both the Carrier and Valentine were very nice looking. But managed to restrain myself. For the moment.

Love the Italians but they are not really suitable for the Desert theatre are they?
Hopefully they'll eventaully bring out plastic early Italians as well.

In the mean time Empress looks like the best bet.
