I've been offered a good job in Fargo, are there any shops or clubs in the Fargo/Morehead area?

The Omni was the only store in the area and it shows as being closed.

Here is a website with gamers, looks RPG but perhaps they can point you in the right direction.

They said they meet on Wednesdays at this place.

I visit my in-laws in Breckenridge once or twice a year, might stop in to say hi. (nothing else to do up there!)

The Red River Area Wargamers meets once a month at the Mall in Fargo to game. You can contact them at the Yahoo group called RRAW
link

The group isn't that large, and I have not been able to attend as many of their game days are the same as another group that I game with in Minneapolis – I live half way between the two cities.

I believe they draw gamers in the spring, summer and fall from Grand Forks and Canada

Welcome to Fargo, if you take the job.

Omni has been closed for a few years. No real miniatures gaming stores any more. Hobby Hut, link above, is still around and has some.

Paradox Comics has boardgames and some more. I think they held the X-Wing tourney when the new ships were previewed.

The RRAW group is active and does a bunch of different eras so join that group and find out more.

Also CoreCon is coming up and will have gaming.

If you have the chance then get down to the Minneapolis Saint Paul area (3.5 hour drive or so…). The Source comics and Games there is one of the best shops I have ever seen, large selection of minis, games, comics, and anime. I have not been there in a few years though and the last time I was there the game section had thinned out a good bit.
