We had a Black Powder game at the club on Wednesday night involving the British 5th Division attacking a weak French Division defending a position in the foothills of the Pyrenees. A report can be found on Carls blog.

Hope you enjoy.

Thanks, a lot of work has gone into that ARR. I was very interested to see BP being used in a game with a small footprint and using just a few formations. This makes the rules more interesting for me.

Well done young man, keep up the good work.

Ah, perfidious Albion triumphs again!

There will be harsh words said when the news reaches Paris

Great AAR – interesting to see how the rules work out for Napoleonics

An entertaining AAR! I dunno about 'forgot the free move for artillery' – I wasn't aware there was one! I shall do my homework!

Enjoyed it very much! Blog followed.

Limbered artillery can make one move if they fail the command roll.

Thanks for the comments. Between me and Carl we will be trying to do regular updates to his blog. The next one will probably be a Wild West game at the club on Wednesday unless something more interesting turns up.

We will be doing some project updates too. The eagle eyed amongst you may have noticed that the Portuguese brigade had the wrong skirmishers. I finished 8 figures for the 8th Cazadores today and should have the other 8 finished in a couple of days. This will allow the Oels to be correctly deployed to the two British Brigades. I'm also doing some Delta Force 20mm for Carls Somalia project so when the camera is next out we will do updates on these.

Thanks for showing an interest.
