I am happy to say I was first past the guns of Vicksburg in USS Tuscumbia. Five other gallant ship captains also made it, with GoGators bringing up the rear with USS Pittsburg. Alas, four of our captains & their ships did not make it (Sterling Price, Lexington, Tyler and Lafayette).

A great and fun day for all, however. Kudos to the eagle-eyed Confederate gunners, too.

Eye-candy for sure !

I have to say I had an easy time of it as tail end Charley. All the batteries were blown up before I got there. On shot from the Pittsburgh the whole game. However, that one shot set the land battery on fire!

Great game by Bill!

The Vicksburg game was in fact built and by Bill Moreno. Good eye Ed! A fantastic looking and playing game. The game was played in three parts over the entire weekend. We started to disassemble it yesterday around dinner time. A fantastic endeavor, but the usual from Bill Moreno and HMGS South members.

There were some great games this weekend. I'm already looking forward to HURRICON 13.

Cheers,
Jeff
