I am working on a damaged section of OKI wall and am wondering…

Would the majority of the rubble be on the reverse of the wall assuming the hit was from a tank or something similar to the front?

If so would this be what you would want from the model or would most of the rubble being at the rear get in the way of placing figures?

What you reckon?

(that is not all the rubble, there is more to be done)

It depends how many hits it took to punch through. If it took three shots to penetrate the wall, most of the rubble would be on the outside as that's where it would fall. If the first shot punched the above hole in it, most of the damage would be on the inside.
Check out shots of armour breaching compound walls in Iraq and Afghan for an example.

Snap – multiple impacts nibbling away at it will leave the rubble mainly in front, while a single hefty impact will put it behind. Given the generally low tech stuff you represent, in front would probably make sense.

In front as above-but also for the ease of placing figs etc behind the wall for cover and defence!
Maybe have a variant with smaller rubble sloped against the wall for passage of troops like a " practicable breach"……..Seperate low relief rubble 'stands' perhaps?
(looks great by the way!)

Cheers chaps.
I will be doing it like this:

Mostly at the front with a lower breach than before.

Outside of the wall looks great and at least you know it took more than one round to punch through!

Are you nicking my ideas again? I will try and post some pics of my derelict compound. So you can have a look at my version of damaged OKI walls.

I must admit the OKI walls are easy to work with. Doing a damage version is so easy to do. I added some steel work to give that reinforced concrete feel.

But not so easy you should make them instead of buying them!

What's the plan for the umpteenth keyboard I see in the picture? ;-)

The latest anti-structure munitions have a small charge to get it into the wall and a second charge to 'mousehole'. This will leave debris on both sides of the wall.

Interestingly, they can also be set to penetrate a thin wall and then detonate the main charge inside the room…ummm bagsy not being the defender in an urban environment!

I saw a programme where they should that Isreal had shells for their tanks that did that.

Anywho, the wall is being moulded as we speak using very technical specialist moulding materials:

Oh but I was, that's why I wanted mis-cast stuff.

Now that I've finished and done all the hard work myself, you make that.

Still might buy one or two though, looks good. I see that you haven't stopped playing with Lego yet!
