Not the most accurately or perfectly painted troops, but after wanting to get into the hobby and AWI it was very pleasing to finally be able to play:

Looks very good – what rules did you use?

Cool game

Thank you for the kind words.

We were playing two identical and symultaneous games to playtest a scenario for Little Wars. The rules were a house version of Wilderness Wars used by the Centurians out of St. Paul, MN. Every Monday there is a historical miniature game at Source Comics and Games which provided most of the terrain in this game. I brought my troops which for the most part have been bought second hand. My basing is different from what is suggested in the Wilderness Wars ruleset as well as the basing used by the Centurians, but I brought both armies so it was not a problem. It is my understanding some of the house rules are being considered for a second edition of the ruleset.

Very nice. The casualty markers are a good idea.

Excellent!

Bandolier,

I found the casualty markers from Will's Wargaming Blog:

It was quite nice of him to put them up. I just scaled them down a bit for 15mm.

If anyone is going to Little Wars and wants to play the scenario here is information from the Game Master who set it up:

"Bemis Heights is titled "By some rash deed do mischief…" and runs at 5PM on Saturday, April 27 at HMGS's Little Wars at the Du Page County Expo Center in St. Charles, IL. I'll be running Bennington and Freeman's Farm at the same show."
