Deadline: 6:00 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013.

Task: Finish painting 1 35-man regiment of Moscow militia. Base four similar regiments of Moscow militia.

Acccomplished: 3 regiments coated with future/water. 2 regiments and command stand glued to Litko bases. 4th regiment now painted except for leather highlights, steel and brass, as well as drummer and flagbearer.

Crisis: Short on Litko bases. Ordered some to hopefully arrive Friday. Humidity 100% so no Dullcoating.

Tick tock, tick tock . . . . .

Good luck!

Interested in your comment about humidity – how does that effect the varnish. I have sometimes experienced milky clouding and just thought that I had put the varnish on too thickly, could that have been a humidity issue?

If you are in England it is not humidity – we call it rain grin

Scale? 15mm should be easy enough. 28mm a bit tricky but doable. 6mm barely worth a sweat.

Thanks all.

Why, the only scale (28mm). Anyhow also forgot the regiment of Russian Line, which is half glued on. Litko's fedexed the bases (hope they remembered to waive signature for delivery, will have to call and check on that).

@normsith, many report that high humidity results in clouding of Dullcoat. Same reports say that it can be fixed with a second shot of Dullcoat. Due to time constraints I don't want to faff around with it and will Dullcoat later. Also, we're getting intermittent "English Humidity" too, so spraying outside is problematic.

Update . . .

Task: Finish painting 1 35-man regiment of Moscow militia. Base four similar regiments of Moscow militia.

Acccomplished: 4 regiments painted, coated with future/water. 3 regiments militia and 1 regiment line w/command stands glued to Litko bases. Ground cover placed on bases for line regiment and beginning 3 regiments of Militia . . . .

Crisis: Just realized drummer and flagbearer for 1 regiment not painted, and *of course* they have the most complicated and time consuming uniforms.

Tick tock, tick tock . . . . .
