We're very pleased (and relieved) to preview the Emishi skirmishers for our Kofun (pre-samurai) range -- they've been a long time coming but are worth the wait!

The sculptor has captured the primitive look of the Emishi, wearing long shaggy beards and deers skins -- with arrows stuck in their hair knots!

We had three poses made for those who wish to use them as massed archers, but they are most famous as open order skirmishers, hunting men with the same ruthlessness as they did their animal prey.

Thanks to Duncan Head for the specs and a drawing of appearance, and to Steve Dean for the paintup. Coming soon!

Quite nice, worth the wait. Didn't think those were ever coming out. Have to take another look at the rest of the range.

Has someone been playing "William Tell" again? grin

Great looking figures.

Uh-oh. Going to have to add some more troops to the mass of Kofun-era Japanese.

Any chance we will ever see Caucasian States?

Great miniatures for skirmishers.

I still have to finish to paint my Kofun Nara army.
