Shapeways now offers a Tu-22 in 1/285 scale. It's a good rendering, with a cruise missile partially recessed under the fuselage. The only fault I could find was a slight "washboard" effect under the forward fuselage, which should be fixable. In the same scale, their new Eurofighter Typhoon with underwing stores is outstanding. Both models are by Prairie Hawk Gamers and you'll find pictures on the Shapeways' website.

I've been pretty happy with what I've ordered from Prairie Hawk Gamers. I don't think I can afford their bombers at the moment. It would be cool if they, or anyone else in Shapeway's model aircraft community made an Embraer EMB 314 Super Tucano.

Wow, their stuff looks great.

Will purchasing 'white strong and flexible polished' remove the 'gritty' look of the plastic?

I've gotten the flexible polished and it does look cleaner than the frosted.

Thanks Mikey. I didn't know H&R made them.
