Their 8th White paper in 15 years, but apparently this one contains more actual information about force strength and organization as well as the usual fluff. Some are describing it as a step towards greater transparency. Summary (English)
link Extract from summary: ' … the mobile operational units of the PLA ground force consist of 18 combined corps and several independent combined combat divisions or brigades. These units have a strength of 850,000.
