From PSR. link They do look good but there are 7 parts to each of 16 soldiers. Not sure of the cost. Might be too much work for this old guy but others might love them. The big selling point is that you get any kind of weapon you want for infantry. No more "Why didn't they add a machine gun loader figure!?" Now you can just do it. John |

That's really cool, but I'm not sure I would want to deal with that in 1/72. Doug |

I did some Pegasus infantry awhile back, while nice figures,I found them a little fiddly, and there werent reallly any options on how to assemble them.I highly doubt I'd select the Caesar option. |

I too have some Pegasus figs and found them very fiddly with my old hands. A great idea for the talented modeller but not for me. |

Looks fabulous to me for some special purpose figures
Agree. I've always found the seams really hard to cover up with multipart figures eg the Esci Nebelwerfer crew – and they only need their arms attaching. But the Caesar sets do offer scope for some really specialised figures with a bit of effort. |

The multi part Caesar figures are a great idea on paper
but
they don't work out well in practice. I consider myself a modeler before wargamer, and I found them too fiddly. Also, the included parts are meant to go together in one way, and all the poses are static and boring. There are no instructions, but you can figure it out using the part numbers on the sprues. If you go off those part groups, you end up with remarkably awkward figures. Shame, as it is a great idea. |
