I'm close to completing some rules, ready for playtest – our first playtest game is tomorrow. They are for large skirmishes in the dark ages / early medieval period, but I will hopefully extend them to cover later medieval and fantasy.
They are hex based, card driven rules, and are for battles with around 50-100 figures on each side, with each figure representing one man.
My current title for them is Shieldwall, but there is already a set of rules with that name, so I'm looking for other suggestions.

There are several possibilities in this Medieval poem:

"War, be thou my lot!
Peace delights me not!
Law I do not know,
Save a RIGHT GOOD BLOW!"

Warband!

Actually that was something I had thought about using, and I think it might work, given the nature of the rules.

Googling it doesn't come up with any of that name already, so it looks like it's the top choice at the moment.

Wall Made of Shields?
Seriously though, hex-based and card driven skirmish sounds great. Best of luck! And Warband sounds good.
