Over the years there have been inquiries on TMP about the old J and T Miniatures line "Dogs of the Hot Moon" that deals with the Dakota War of 1862. Iam happy to say that Andrew at Bicorne (who has the molds) is making these figures once more. My order has just arrived and I am pleased with the various figures of civilian and Sioux. Here are the various packs.

Men of Redwood Agency
Women of Redwood Agency
First Blood (a Mixed bag of armed civilians, women and Sioux)
Armed settlers at Fort Ridgely
Sioux warriors, edged weapons
Sioux Warparty (two mounted and seven dismounted)
Casualities for both sides.

There is great potential for skirmish and small battles for this war as well as assaults on a city and fort.
Just give Andrew a call or e-mail him. I had been looking for these for years and a very pleased I can get them now.

Bicorne has a distinct lack of pictures for some ranges.

Bicorne has just decided to do these figures again, they are not even up on their site yet. I was simply letting you folks know that they are available again if interested.

I don't know if I'd call New Ulm in 1862 a "city"… grin

I'm not sure I call New Ulm a 'city' in 2013 ;-)

BUT they do have one of the best Microbreweries in Minnesota.
