I've got some pictures up on my blog of a painted unit of the Mantic Skeleton warriors. Let me know what you think. link |

First off, really nice paint jobs. Second, I generally don't care for the look Mantic's figures. However, I do like these. Some of the nicest looking figures they've done to date. How sturdy are they? Some plastic skellies can be a little brittle. |

Nice paints on those. I'd really go for the mantic skellies if they didn't have that darned 'evil eye' thing going on. |

Nice. I agree with Joker. Mantic figures are generally not so good, in my eyes. But these and some of the other undead are nice. And the ghouls are excellent! |

Nice, I particularly like the greenish corrosion on the armor. |

Thank you all. My method for painting them was pretty simple. If you're interested, I have a step-by-step tutorial with pictures on my blog here: link Joker, the Mantic skeletons are sturdy enough. I didn't have any problems with them breaking while I was assembling or painting them. The Wargames Factory skeletons, on the other hand, are very fragile. The skeletons are the only mantic miniatures I've assembled, though I have some ghouls I haven't gotten to yet, so I can't comment on the quality of Mantic miniatures in general. However, I also don't really get why the skeletons have eyeballs. Still, if it really bothered you, you could just paint them black and I doubt they would be noticeable. |
