What is the best way to paint tanks with with side skirts? I was thinking just to assemble the whole thing and then paint? Or is it better to do the skirts separately and attach at the end? Thanks |

Why paint something you can't see? |

I stick them on first, just like shields. |

Black prime the vehicle, then attach the side skirts and paint. You only need to paint what can be seen. Any incidental area missed by painting will look like a shadow. |

Just be careful – they don't like it when you look up their skirts, and the brush can be very ticklish on the underparts

I don't even wait to paint the tanks with schurzen at 28mm scale. I just get in there as best I can after the fact. =) |
