We enjoyed a fun GASLIGHT Pulp game on Friday night. Read about it on my blog: bucksurdu.com/blog

I liked the Thirties feel of the game, especially the vehicles. Who would have thought to mount the anti-grav ray on a pickup truck? Pretty snarky. Nice buildings. Truth Ray? What other nefarious tools do these pesky Venusians hide from us? The Mob did the heavy lifting in response to alien invasion. The constabulary oft trip upon their leaden flat feet.

Thanks. I've set the town in an ill-defined 30's-40's era, depending on whether the bad guys are other gangsters, Nazis, or Venusians.

The buildings are a mix of Litko, which I love, Plasticville, and scratch built from "war foam." I've been building it up slowly for a couple of years. Litko has recently released four or five new buildings which I am covetting.

I was going to include a link, but the Litko site seems to be misbehaving.

In the photo above, I noticed that a crowd has formed behind the building with the Italian restaurant. They seem to be drawing attention to a giant's lost pair of spectacles.

Interesting plot point point, Buck. wink

Seriously, another fine looking game.

Those are actually lenses lovingly fabricated by a local craftsman for use in a ray to defend Granville from falling asteroids. They have not yet been installed. In the meantime the local kids use them to burn up ants and small pieces of paper.
