Are you seeing what I'm seeing?

Or . . .

Or . . . a mini-sub, perhaps?

Thoughts?

PS. And add a few of these to smooth out the topside:

Lots of potential there!

Mako1111 Apr 2013 4:23 p.m. PST

I'm not seeing it.

Ironclads perhaps, but not subs.

I'd use PVC pipe first, for the latter.

Why not?

There are subs and then there are SUBS . . .

Just kidding. But don't give up yet.

You could always try starting with these curved pieces for the sides and then go from there:

For small (smuggler, etc) subs, you could always just buy a waterline kit of an actual submarine.

Or even a full kit of one of the baby subs.

Not sure I could hold on to any block stuff if my grandson found out about it. ;->=

I assumed these were Star Wars pieces, and therefore, of greater value. I'm impressed they aren't 'dear'.

I think they'd be smashing as waterline (early subs barely floated).

And, even if I were to make whole subs out of PVC, which would be boring as just a tube, and high tech at perfectly round, These still look useful for decking, though I'd want to cover in plastic mesh or similar.

Thanks, Dan!

Doug
