Search for a diecast G series van in the scale you think best. I liked 1:48 with my figs in that scale. |

you can find the 1:43 hot wheels elite vehicles on ebay for about 30-35 USD a pop (way cheaper than 50+ GBP) and they look GREAT. I'm looking for a good set of Marty McFly and Dr Emmit Brown miniatures to compliment my flying Back to the Future II Delorean. |

What a great post and with a happy ending . 1:43 is not normally the way to go but I have played post-apoc games with 25mm street violence figures and the vehicles are fine. If anyone disagrees then 'Shut up fool' |

CVS Pharmacy has a display of modern cars, trucks that work great for 28mm modern/zombies and they are $4.95 USD each. Thewre is a guy selling them for $6.00 USD on ebay. |

Thanks much! I didn't realize that this would be such an easy (if expensive on some sides) find. I've used the CVS cars before, and like them, so I'll give that a quick look for a GMC Vandura (a data point which I also learned from your responses; thanx again). Especially since I would enjoy making my own spoiler and painting it myself. Barring that, a pre--painted ready to go vechile at 1:43 is a good deal. I like 1:43 vehicles since I always have a hard time convincing my miniatures to crouch down behind smaller ones
