Does anyone have a copy they would like to get rid of reasonably?

Abebooks has one for less than $50. USD link

Good luck on your search. They are getting harder to find.

£30.00 GBP new or £25.00 GBP second hand via Amazon in the UK.

You see them on e-bay every 6 weeks or so for around £10.00 GBP (UK).

Got mine in early Feb for £4.00 GBP plus £4.20 GBP postage.

Amazon seem to give inflated prices for most OOP
Titles. Maybe best to shop around.

It isn't Amazon that is the problem, it is the book dealers. There are many titles out there that certain dealers really inflate in price as soon as they are out of print. I know of a BBQ book that is going for over retail used by about 40% and one dealer is trying to sell a used one for 10X the original retail! Same book on Barnes and Noble electronic format is 50% of original print price….

Wow – didn't realise it was a prime buy – ironically rthe cheapest on Amazon UK is £30.00 GBP from Paul Meekin books. Ironic, 'cos I'm pretty sure I got my copy from Paul Meekin books for well below cover price.

It may also be worth saying that the rules in 'Wargaming – an Introduction' which is not inflated in price are substantially the same (you just don't get all the period intros and army lists …) …

That's true – good point.

If you are not opposed to buying electrons, Amazon has their Kindle version for $15 USD.
