I have posted a recap on my blog of the South American Independence Battle of Aruare (1813) game that I ran using Lasalle at Kingdom Con in San Diego this last weekend. Also a few thoughts and pics of the rest of the convention. It was a fantastic time and truly a breakout year for this up and coming event.

Wow what an impressive looking game. The lake looks really good , I would love to know how it was made ?
Royalist , peasant infantry, llaneros who could ask for more. The troops look excellent what an interesting period. I have just checked on Amazon and there appears to be a new Essentail History guide coming out for this era in November, that going to be on my must buy list.
