This might be too specialized an interest, but just in case there was anyone here looking for ways to round out their 1/72 fantasy collection, I'll share my most recent post on my blog. I explain how one can adopt some of the new Bones minis with 1/72 figures, taking advantage of the variety of sizes fantasy minis of the same scale are made in. For a taste, here are some gnomes and halfings, looking quite human in 1/72:

And here are some large creatures, looking suitably gigantic next to a 1/72 human:

Yes, some figures can find uses in more than one scale.

Since it's not altogether obvious that, say, a halfing figure in one scale would look human in another, I thought it might be worth someone's while to share what I learned.

I use the Minotaurs for giant creatures with my 28mm hard plastics. They look great towering over the regular dudes.

Very interesting. Those halflings are slim enough that they could be very nice "heroic 20mm Humans. I would never have thought of that.

An excellent example of thinking outside the box.

Interesting! I was wondering how well 25 mm figures would mix with 1/72 figures. Thanks for posting.

I picked up a few of these at Enfilade a few days ago and started painting them up. I am very happy with the results thus far. Overall the quality is good and I have had no issues with hydrophobic plastic. The price point seems to be excellent!
